Earlier, the Taraba State Coordinator of the NYSC, Mr. David Markson, lauded the efforts of the state government for the support given to NYSC in the state and congratulated the outgoing corps members on their successful completion of the service year.
He enjoined the 988 Batch A corps members, who passed out of the scheme from Taraba State, to optimally utilize the enterprenuership skills they acquired during their one year service to create jobs for themselves that can drive the economy.
While acknowledging the spirit of patriotism and dedication exhibited by the corps members, Markson said out of 988 corps members that served in Taraba State, eight executed outstanding projects that merited the governor’s award.
However, eight corps members got their service year extended for a period of one month, for behaviour that contravened their oath of service.
