Your inauguration today has confirmed your victory at the recently concluded gubernatorial election across the nation.

“Once again I say, congratulations as you begin the journey at the Leopard Road Governor’s Office, Calabar. It was a well deserved victory for all Cross Riverians who voted for the All Progressives Congress, APC, at the polls.

“Therefore, it is my fervent prayer that God should grant you the wisdom to govern well and bring the dividend of democracy to the people of Cross River State who are hungry for a good government. Congratulations!

“Still on the same page, I humbly join Nigerians, both at home and abroad, to celebrate with Mr. President, Senator Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as he takes his oath as President of this great nation, called Nigeria.

“It is a well deserved victory. Congratulations Mr. President, Congratulations All Progressives Congress, Congratulations Nigerians!

“The expectations are high. It’s indeed a big task. But certainly with the support of all Nigerians, Mr. President will succeed in taking the country to greater heights. He would have to take some tough decisions like he has just done with the issue of fuel subsidy. I believe that everything will work out for good under Tinubu’s watch.”
