The paramount ruler of Iwoland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi, Tèlú I, has commiserated with popular Nigerian crooner, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and the entire Adeleke dynasty of Ede, Osun State, over the unfortunate passing away of Ifeanyi, David’s three-year-old son.

Recall that Ifeanyi passed away in a swimming pool accident on Monday, October 31, while his parents were away on a journey.

In a condolence message signed by the Chief Press Secretary, CPS, to the Oluwo of Iwolanzd, Alli Ibraheem, Oba Akanbi described the death if Ifeanyi as a rude shock, insisting that “losing a precious child comes with pain, but one has to resign to God.”

Oba Akanbi added, “I commiserate with Davido, Dr. Deji Adeleke, the Osun State governor-elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke, and the entire Adeleke dynasty of Ede, Osun State, over the incidence.

“Taking heart in such a moment is one of the acts of Godliness.”

The monarch further prayed God to continue to guide and protect the family.
