The member of the House of Representatives, representing Akoko South-East/South-West federal constituency, Hon Adejoro Adeogun, has sponsored three vital bills meant to impact positively on the well being of his constituents.
This was a pointer to the belief that when people are represented by a cerebral and outstanding personality, there is no limit to what they can achieve.
The three bills, which were listed for consideration last Thursday included: the National Institute for Agricultural Research, Supare Akoko, Ondo State Bill, 2022 (HB. 2068); the National Institute of Oil Palm Research, Isua Akoko, Ondo State (Establishment) Bill, 2022 (HB. 2070); and the Federal College of Nursing and Midwifery, Oba Akoko, Ondo State (Establishment) Bill, 2022 (HB. 2071).
The bills, which seek to positively impact the lives of the people of Akoko South in particular and Ondo State in general, were read the first time last Thursdayday at plenary on the floor of the House of Representatives.
Recall that the Ondo State Legislator of the year has made tremendous progress in the area of introducing bills that seek to make life meaningful and better for the citizens of Nigeria.
These bills, if and when passed, will not only reduce youth unemployment, but will also bring relevant and essential services nearer to the people.
It is jot in doubt that with strategic legislation, Akoko South area of Ondo State will be a reference point for unparalleled development.
