The Permanent Secretary of the Nasarawa State Ministry of Works, Mr Jibrin Giza, was at the weekend reportedly kidnapped at his residence by unknown gunmen.
The state commissioner of police, Bola Longe, confirmed the incident in Lafia,explaining that the gunmen stormed the Permanent Secretary’s residence in the arly hours of the day in Shabu, a suburb of Lafia, the state capital and whisked the Permanent Secretary to an unknown destination.
Longe however stated that the police were on the trail of the kidnappers.
No contact has been made so far by the alleged , as at the time of filing this report.
