A pro-Bola Ahmed Tinubu campaign organization, National Independent Campaign Organization for Tinubu, NICOT, has assured the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, of its total and unalloyed support in his new role as the Chief Campaigner for the 2023 presidential ambition of his boss, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
NICOT, in a statement by its Public Relation Officer, PRO, Comrade Adekunle Adeosun, said, “We will compliment your new role with our existing structure across the country. We are always readily available wherever and whenever the clarion call for good governance is the order of the day.”
Commending Governor Sanwo-Olu for volunteering to lead the presidential campaign of the former governor of Lagos State, Asiwaju Tinubu, the statement describes him as a loyal disciple, promising to be with him throughout the exercise until victory is achieved.
Additionally, NICOT made it abundantly clear that “it is high time we made the public realise that any project Sanwo-Olu lays his hands upon has become our project; and we will do our best on this current one to the best of our ability, because we know he is a born achiever.”
The statement disclosed further that NICOT “is always ever ready to support any idea that is aimed at making life worthy of living for all and sundry,” stressing the need for all well-meaning Nigerians to always queue up behind the governor in whatever project he decides to get involved in, because the word ‘failure: is not in his lexicon.
The statement added, “Before his decision to volunteer to be the Chief Campaigner for his boss’ presidential aspiration, Sanwo-Olu must have weighed the benefit that will accrue therein for the masses, because his own policies are always people-centred.”
The statement concluded by recalling that Sanwo-Olu has passed the Integrity Test of the Campaign for Dignity in Governance, CDG, under the able leadership of Comrade Razaq Olokoba severally; and thus, he is the kind of person who should be followed in any project he believes in, because he would not engage in anything that would not be woven around humanity.
Consequently, NICOT therefore urged all people of goodwill to rally their support round Sanwo-Olu, believing that he would not mislead his people, adding that he is a trust-worthy administrator and good leader of men.
