…Inducted As Fellow Of Prestigious IAFoST
Renowned international researcher and former Deputy Vice Chancellor, DVC, Development, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, FUNAAB, Prof. Lateef Oladimeji Sanni, has been inducted as a Fellow of the global high ranking and prestigious International Academy of Food Science and Technology, IATFoST, world congress in far away Singapore.
Sanni, who shone like a galaxy of stars at the world congress, projected FUNAAB and the entire African continent to the enviable pedestal of global visibility as the only qualified scientist from an African institution if higher learning.
Additionally, the former Dean of College of Food Science and Human Ecology, COLFHEC, FUNAAB, apart from his induction, also carved an historical niche of being among the newly 13th class of Outstanding Food Scientists in the world, comprising 27 scientists from 20 countries.
The feat of the erudite scholar, who is the first professor of if FUNAAB extraction, lend credence to the latest global ranking of FUNAAB as one of the best 10 universities in Nigeria; with Sanni ranked as the second best researcher in FUNAAB and 43rd best researcher in Nigeria, according to the 2023 AD scientific ranking of 5193, h-index of 37.
The former Country Manager of Cassava Adding Value for Africa, C.ava, has published 122 journal articles, 30 books, 30 conference proceedings, one patent and recorded the highest citation in Google Scholar 5,294 h-index of 37, Scopus 1526, h-index of 20 and Research Gate (3365, h=index 33.11)
