A former acting Vice Chancellor, VC, of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, FUNAAB, Prof Ololade Adeduro Enikuomehin, a Professor of Plant Pathology, from the Department of Crop Protection in the College of Plant Science and Crop Protection, COLPLANT, of FUNAAB, will on Wednesday, November 22, deliver the 71st Inaugural Lecture of the university.
Titled: ‘Tending the Inaudible: The Management of Plant Afflictions With The Endowment of Nature,’ the lecture is scheduled to at the university’s Ceremonial Building by 2:00pm.
Professor Enikuomehin obtained his first degree from the Ambrose Alli University, AAU, Ekpoma, Edo State, and obtained his M.Sc and Ph.D degrees from the University of Ibadan.
He is a member of several science societies, including: the Nigerian Society for Plant Protection, the Organic Agriculture Project in Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria and the American Pythopathological Society.
The 71st Inaugural Lecture is the first to be chaired by the new acting VC of FUNAAB, Professor Olusola Kehinde, since his assumption of office on November 1.
