After so much delay, President Muhammadu Buhari has finally signed the Electoral Act Amendment Bill into law.
The bill was assented to by the President at past midday on Friday, at a brief ceremony held inside the Council Chamber of the Aso Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The signing of the bill into law was witnessed by the Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo; the President of the Senate, Ahmed Lawan, and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila.
