Following the outcome of last week’s Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, primary election to pick it candidate for the forthcoming Ekiti State gubernatorial election, the National Working Committee, NWC, of the party has constituted a Post-Primary Reconciliation Committee, PPRC, for the state.

A statement signed by PDP’s National Publicity Secretary, Hon Debo Ologunagba, stated that the Committee is charged with the sole mandate of reconciling all “our stakeholders in Ekiti State, including all aspirants in the just concluded governorship primary election in the state.”

The statement added, “This is in line with the commitment of the NWC to ensure an amicable resolution of all issues, as our party sets for a victorious governorship election in Ekiti State.”

The statement mentioned members of the Committee to include: former President of the Senate, His Excellency, Senator David A. Mark, GCON, who is to serve as chairman of the committee; governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, co-chairman; former President of the Senate, His Excellency, Senator Dr. Adolphus Wabara, GCON; Senator Mrs. Zainab Kure; Dr. Prince Charles Akitoye; Sergeant Awuse; Col. Bala Mande; Chief Shuaibu Oyedokun; and Senator Sanusi Daggash, who is to serve as the committee’s secretary.

The NWC urged all aspirants, leaders, and critical stakeholders of the PDP in Ekiti State to remain focused on the success of the party in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
