…Solicits For Their Continued Support For Makinde Administration
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Oyo State and Chief Executive Officer, CEO, of YSEG Hotels and Suites, Ibadan, Hon. Olayinka Oladimeji Segelu, has congratulated Muslims residents in the state on the celebration of the 2023 Eid-El-Kabir.
Congratulating the Muslim faithful in a statement, Hon Segelu urged them to use the occasion to pray for the progress, peace and unity of Oyo State and Nigeria in general.
He said, “May the celebration of Eid-El-Kabir bring forth greater blessings, joy and happiness to your households.
“The whole essence of Eid-el-Kabir celebration is about sacrifice, humility, selflessness, forgiveness and sincere submission to the will of God Almighty as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim.
“Let us inculcate these good virtues and display them as we interact and relate with one another to entrench peace, love and unity among ourselves.”
He admonished, “We need to use this season to pray for the growth and development of our dear Oyo State and Nigeria as a whole. It is important that we don’t stop giving our unflinching support to the administration of His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for him to be able to bring more dividends of democracy to the doorsteps of the people. He did well in his first term. He needs our prayers for him to do better in his second term, which began exactly a month ago.”
