…Tally Now 627 With 21 Fatalities
There seems to be no end in sight as confirmed cases of COVID-19 keep increasing every day, as the National Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, last night confirmed 86 new cases of the pandemic.
The latest confirmation brings the total confirmed cases across the country to 627, out of which 170 have been discharged with fatality at 21, including the Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abba Kyari.
The latest statistics was released by the NCDC at about 11:50pm on Sunday, April 19 on its official Twitter page.
Of the new 86 cases, Lagos State has a whooping 70 cases; while the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, has seven. Katsina and Akwa Ibom states have three cases each while Jigawa, Bauchi and Borno have a case apiece.
