The Ilorin Regional Office of the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company, IBEDC, has supported the palliative efforts of the Kwara State government in alleviating the suffering of the people of the state occasioned by COVID-19 lockdown with food items worth N100 million.
IBEDC Regional Head, Mr Musbau Ajisafe, who led the management team to make the donation in Ilorin said they were donating items, which include: 2,500 bags of 5kg rice, 1,500 cartoons of noodles and 3,000 1kg bags of semovita to support government palliatives to the poor during the lockdown in the fight against COVID-19.
Ajisafe said that IBEDC is committed to providing regular power supply, promising that services to non paying customers during the period the period of lockdown would not be interrupted, except based on safety advisory.
Ajisafe also promised that IBEDC essential technical staff would be on ground to repair faults promptly.
