Canada’s premier entertainmen art school, with over 40 years reputation, Metalworks Institute of Sound and Music Production, has appointed Spirit of Nigeria Radio, as its education recruitment agent domiciled in Nigeria.

The appointment authorises and grants the online radio station, currently celebrating ‘One Year on Air,’ the rights to promote the institution, engage, interview and recruit Nigerians, who desire to study music and sound production with a deep understanding of the complexities of the entertainment industry in the premier music institute located in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.

A press release jointly signed by the Director, Global Strategy and Innovation at Metalworks Institute, Mr. Craig McDonald, and General Manager, Spirit of Nigeria Radio, Mr. Olayooye Arulogun, stated that the educational recruitment agreement is sealed with the key objective of expanding the music and sound production knowledge base and technical capacity in the Nigerian music industry through knowledge transfer.

The statement further added that the giant strides and world impact of Nigerian musicians, plus the strictly Nigerian music philosophy of Spirit of Nigeria Radio influenced the choice of the partnership with the Nigerian-centric broadcast platform.

Under mutually agreed terms and conditions, Spirit of Nigeria Radio will facilitate the recruitment of Nigerians, who desire to acquire broad and deep knowledge of live and studio music production with emphasis on audio engineering, music performance, studio production, live production and music business.
