Available information revealed that the monarch died at the Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital, ABUTH, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State.
OBA Adeyemi who had been on the throne for 52 years, was said to have died on Thursday at the Afe Babalola University Teaching Hospital, where he was said to have gone for his routine medical check-up.
CompassNG gathered that his remains had arrived Oyo town, where it was received by his eldest son, Prince Tunde Adeyemi, at Idi-Abba.
The Oyo town longest-serving monarch was born on October 15, 1938 and had as father Oba Adeyemi II.
