The governor of Kebbi State, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, has condoled with the family of late Sani Muhammad Ka’oje and Abubakar Gadzama, who both passed away in Birnin Kebbi.

This was contained in a press signed by the Chief Press Secretary, CPS, to the Kebbi State governor, Abubakar Mu’azu Dakingari.

During the condolence visit to the bereaved families, last Sunday, the governor prayed Allah to admit them into Aljannah Firdaus and grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.

Late Ka’oje, a veteran teacher, worked with the Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.

He was survived by one wife, 11 children and many grand children.

Among them are, Professor Usman Sani Ka’oje of the Usman Danfodio University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto; Mallam Abdulrahman Sani Ka’oje, Assistant Chief Accountant with NTA; and Engineer Saddik Sani Ka’oje.

Late Mallam Gadzama, the Sarkin Shanu of Gwandu Emirate Council, was a retired veterinary officer who retired at Dakingari Veterinary Office, and died at the age of 85 years, leaving behind one wife, 10 children. He died on Saturday of an illness.

Among his children and relation are Mallam Yero Zoro, former member of Kebbi State House of Assembly and Mallam Kabiru Abubakar Gadzama, Deputy-Director Finance, Suru Local Government Area.

Governor Bagudu was accompanied on the visit by former governor, Alhaji Sa’idu Usman Nasamu Dakingari, and retired Deputy Comptroller-General of Customs, Abubakar Mallam, the Shettiman Gwandu.
