The governor of Kebbi State, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, has condoled with the family of late retired acting Chief Judge of the state, Justice Asabe Karatu.
Senator Bagudu, in company of the Secretary to the State Government, SSG, Alhaji Babale Umar Yauri, visited the residence of the deceased at Gesse One, Birnin Kebbi, to commiserate with her children and relations, urging them to take solace in God on her demise.
Late Justice Karatu passed away at the age of 67 after an illness on Tuesday, at the Usman Danfodio University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto.
An indigene of Zuru, late Justice Karatu served as Director Public Prosecution, DPP, Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary, Kebbi State Ministry of Justice, High Court judge and later appointed as the acting Chief Judge of the state, prior to her retirement from service.
