The governor of Kebbi State, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, has expressed gratitude and appreciation to the people of the state for trooping out en-masse to the All Progressives’ Congress, APC, presidential campaign rally in Birnin Kebbi, on Saturday, February 11.

Speaking at the rally organised by the ruling party in the state to solicit for votes for its presidential candidate bad all other candidates of the party ahead of the 2023 general elections, Governor Bagudu urged the electorate to massively vote for all candidates of the APC.

A press statement, signed by the Chief Press Secretary, CPS, to Governor Bagudu, stated that while addressing the gathering, the APC presidential candidate, Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, said that if elected, his administration will continue to promote agricultural revolution, initiated by President Muhammadu Buhari and practicalized by Governor Bagudu, as well as upgrade the Argungu Fishing Festival to international standard.

Tinubu remarked that the partnership already in place between Kebbi and Lagos states on rice production and processing would be sustained.

Also speaking at the rally, the Kebbi State Director General, DG, of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, former governor, Alhaji Sa’idu Usman Nasamu Dakingari, said that Tinubu played significant role in the election of President Buhari in 2015, hence, the need for Northern people to reciprocate the goodwill by voting Asiwaju Tinubu as the President at the polls.

Dakingari said that the North would also benefit greatly in trade and commercial activities with the people of the South.

He solicited for cooperation, unity and understanding among the regions in the country as one nation with the same destiny.
