As part of his efforts at ensuring that his constituents continue to enjoy dividends of democracy, the member of the House of Representatives, representing Akoko South East/West federal constituency, Hon Adejoro Adeogun, is set to build and furnish a block of three classrooms at AUD Grammar School, Akungba-Akoko.

This was contained in a statement signed by the lawmaker’s Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Sunday Olugbenga Abire, and made available to CompassnG.

The statement further added that “this is also in his bid to further enhance quality education, while providing students and teachers with a conducive environment for teaching and learning.”

Recall that the Ondo State Legislator of the Year has taken conscious and deliberate steps and actions at enhancing the quality of education of his constituents through unprecedented scholarship award to indigent students in tertiary institutions in Nigeria and the construction of blocks of classrooms, equipped with modern furniture.

Abire further added, “Similarly, in a strategic manner to curb the perennial incessant flooding in Akungba Akoko, Hon Adeogun has also approved the construction of box culvert and retaining wall extension near the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Akungba Akoko.”

Recall that one of the major challenges facing the university town and many other communities in the federal constituency is erosion control.

And in as much as this is sometimes a product of human error, through deliberate dumping of waste, blockage of gutters and canals, indecent constructions, lack of proper building plan etc, there are also natural causes.

The statement continued, “Unfortunately, this has resulted in painful loss of lives and properties. It is therefore, a good thinking from Hon Adeogun, popularly known within his constituency as the ‘Beautiful Brand,’ to identify and tackle this problem continuously in all affected communities, until the desired result is achieved.

“Since strategic leadership is a product of quality thinking, the member of the House of Representatives will continue to execute projects that directly positively impact the lives of the people.

“It is a season of great things and no community will be left out. Ade Adeogun…In God we trust.”
