The member of the House of Representatives, representing Akoko South East/South West federal Constituency, Hon Ade Adeogun, haas partnered with the Industrial Training Fund, ITF, to train artisans and business owners in the Federal Constituency to improve their capacity and business acumen.
Hon Adeogun, who has taken the mandate of his people to represent them serious, has been taking steps to make life easier for his constituents through the various life-improving and life-changing initiatives to engender self-reliance and financial independence of his constituents, as well as improve the standard of living of the people.
It is in furtherance of achieving the economic growth of his constituents that Hon Adeogun, who is also the vice chairman of the House Committee on National Security and Intelligence, has taken it upon himself to train, retrain and empower artisans and business owners in his constituency.
The trainings, meant to upgrade the beneficiaries in their respective areas expertise and businesses took place in Akoko in Ondo State and Lagos State respectively and have since been concluded.
Accompanying empowerment materials are billed to be distributed to the beneficiaries on Friday, August 6,at the Town Hall, Oka-Akoko, the headquarters of Akoko South West Local Government Area.
A statement signed by Adeogun’s Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Abire Sunday Olugbenga, enjoined all beneficiaries to be physically present at the Oka Town Hall.
Justifying the training and the attendant empowerment, Hon Adeogun said, “It’s our desire to do more for our people, by lifting them from economic despondence to the unfettered realm of economic growth by encouraging the growth of small and medium scale enterprises, SMSEs, in our federal constituency.”
