Following the recovery and discharge of four COVID-19 patients in Lagos State, the total number of active coronavirus cases in the state has reduced to 262.
Making this known via his official Twitter The handle was the state Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi.
Prof Abayomi also confirmed that 70 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Lagos on Sunday.
An image accompanying his tweet showed that active COVID-19 cases in Lagos dropped to 262, after a total 98 out of the confirmed In an image 379 cases in rge Centre of Excellence had recovered.
The image also showed that three patients were transferred to Lagos and two have been evacuated.
Fourteen fatalities were recorded in the state from COVID-19-related complications.
Abayomi added, “70 new #COVID-19 cases confirmed in Lagos. The total number of confirmed #COVID-19 cases is now 379. Four additional fully recovered #COVID-19 patients, all males were discharged.”
