…Gov’s Aides Bags Poverty Alleviation Appointment

A veteran journalist former chairman of the Kwara State council of the Nigerian Union of Journalists, Mr. Kayode Adeyipo, has been named as tve Chairman of the newly constituted board of the Kwara State Broadcasting Corporation, Radio Kwara, by the state governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
The appointment was made known in a statement by the governor’s Chief Press Secretary, CPS, Rafiu Ajakaiye, who also disclosed that the board is made up of a
seven members.
Adeyipo is a former Director, News and Current Affairs Department of the radio station.
Other members of the board are Muhammad Buhari Jimoh; Hajia Aisha Muhammad; Dr (Mrs) Amina S. Ahmed; Hon. Mary Ebun Oyeleye; Hajia Bolajoko Jumoke Bello; and Engineer Dele Aje.
The governor also on Thursday appointed an All Progressives Congress, APC, stalwart, Comrade Lukman Ahmed, as a Special Assistant on Poverty Alleviation for Kwara Central;while Ayobami Tabitha Olusona and Hakeem Mora are to superintend over Kwara South and Kwara North respectively.
