Reports making the rounds that the Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, has tested positive for COVID-19, have been debunked by the Lagos State government, through its Ministry of Health, describing the news as absolute falsehood, fabricated by mischief makers.
The Director of Public Affairs in the ministry, Mr. Tunbosun Ogunbanwo, in a statement, urged the public to disregard the information in its entirety, saying the authors are out to create unnecessary panic and fear amongst the populace.
