An indigenous non-governmental organization, Egbe Omo Yoruba Ronu, aka Egbe, has taken a critical look at the second year’s performance of Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and described it as a great improvement on his first year in office.

Leader of the NGO, Comrade Adeosun Adekunle, said, “Having critically examined, sector by sector, the governor’s performance in his second year in office that ended on May 29, 2021, we discovered that it was a great improvement on the first year’s.”

Expressing the delight that, “Sanwo-Olu’s case is that of ‘forward ever, backward never’,” Adekunle in a chat with our correspondent in behalf of his organisation observed that “from the look of things, it appears that the governor still has more up his sleeves in terms of wonders awaiting the good people of the state.”

He therefore enthused that “his third year that is just a month old has started showing signs of superlative performance.”

Comrade Adeosun wondered whether the governor, along with his team of brilliant lieutenants, do sleep at all, stating that “that the magic team is performing on daily basis is an indication that this state is blessed by God with competent hands with Midas touch.”

He however encomiums on the people of the state for their support and cooperation with the governor to perform excellently, stressing that such assistance, support and cooperation are always needed as tonic for more performance.

The comrade-leader also seized the opportunity to task the governor and his team not to relent in their efforts at moving the state forward to an enviable height of global standard, assuring the administration that “the good people of the state are appreciative of its good works and are ever ready to reciprocate the good gesture with all the required support from their side.”

In conclusion, the NGO, having thanked the residents for their support for the governor, further urged them to keep on doubling their efforts towards encouraging the governor to do more, reminding that, their support is a clarion call to the governor to do more.
