…Lagos Misses Out Of Latest Confirmed Cases
Thirty eight new COVID-19 cases were on Monday evening confirmed by the National Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, thus bringing the total number of coronavirus cases in the country to 665.
The NCDC disclosed this via its official Twitter handle, saying that of the 38 new confirmed cases, Kano State accounted for 23, while Gombe State has five cases.
Kaduna State accounted for three cases, while Borno and Abia states have two confirmed cases apiece; Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Sokoto and Ekiti states have one case respectively.
Lagos State, which had become the epicentre of the global pandemic in Nigeria did not record a single case on Monday, 20 April.
Meanwhile, of the 665 confirmed COVID-19 cases across Nigeria, 188 persons have been discharged; while fatality stands at 22.
