The governor of Borno State, Babagana Umara Zulum, on Saturday morning, travelled from Maiduguri to Mafa town, where he cast his vote in the ongoing gubernatorial and state House of Assembly elections, taking place in 28 states, including Borno State.
Zulum, who was accredited as number 105, cast his vote at unit 006 Ajari, around 10:37 am.
The governor expressed delight with the smoothness of exercise at the polling unit.
Zulum returned to Maiduguri shortly after performing his civic duty.
