Contrary to speculations making the rounds,especially on social media platforms, former Vice President, His Excellency, Atiku Abubakar, is yet to discuss or make any consultation on who his running mate will be in 2023, ahead of the presidential election.
This much was disclosed in a e-statement by Atiku’s Media Office, and made available to CompassNG, which stated that the former Vice President is only “presently putting up his team up for an official declaration of his ambition, soonest.”
The statement reiterated that “assumptions from media pundits on who the running mate would be remain in the realm of off-point speculation.
“We are putting this out to set the records straight and put to rest, the rumours flying around on social media and some dailies.
