…As Thousands Storm Port Harcourt For APC Thanksgiving Service
Thousands of supporters of the Minister of Transportation, Rt. Honourable Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi, and the All Progressive Congress, APC, over the weekend stormed Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, to attend the thanksgiving service organized by the Rivers State chapter of the APC to thank and appreciate God for the success of the party’s National Convention held recently in Abuja.
The Adokiye Amiesimaka International Stadium, Port Harcourt, was filled to capacity, as leaders of thoughts, opinion molders and chieftains of the APC besieged there to witness the occasion.
National Coordinator of Group-37, a political support group for the presidential ambition of Amaechi, Comrade City Evans, said that the mammoth crowd that graced the occasion was a clear indication that the APC is taking over the South-South in the 2023 general elections.
Comrade Evans, who led over 7,000 members of the G-37 to the ceremony, stated that Amaechi’s love is entrenched in the minds of every house holds in the South-South region.
The National Coordinator therefore called on the minister of Transportation, Amaechi, to without further delay yield to the call from millions of Nigerians across the country and declare for the Presidency ahead of the 2023 general elections.
Evans said, “You can see for yourself that the crowd you are seeing here came on their own to celebrate with APC on the thanksgiving ceremony. No one was hired or forced to be here. The efforts of the organizers must be commended, because it goes to show that the party is on ground in the South-South.”
