The governor of Yobe State, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, CON, on Saturday congratulated the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Yobe South senator-elect, Ibrahim Mohammed Bomoi, on his success and election to represent Yobe Zone ‘B’ senatorial district.
The governor issued the congratulatory message through his media spokesman, Mamman Mohammed, after the formal declaration of Senator Bomoi by the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, as the senator-elect.
Buni described the victory of the party as an additional value to the incoming APC national government.
He said, “I am optimistic the senator would always lend his support to legislation on policies and programmes of the Federal Government.
“We are also optimistic the experienced lawmaker would bring his experience to bear and continue to work towards improving the lives of his constituents.”
The governor urged the people of Zone B to continue to support the lawmaker for more dividends of democracy.
