…As Ooni of Ife Receives Humanitarian Ambassador Award
Widows in Ile-Ife experienced the kind gesture of Queen Blessing Foundation, QBF empowerment as they danced for joy.
QBF was founded by actress and movie producer, Queen Blessing Ebigieson.
It was indeed a big day and valentine special that took place at the Ooni’s Palace. Widows came in their droves to receive sewing machines, clothing materials and be feted at the event.
Despite her busy schedule, the Ooni’s wife, Olori Naomi Shilekunola Ogunwusi, who was present in person to celebrate the widows thanked the convener and founder of Queen Blessing Foundation, Blessing Ebigieson, for choosing Ile-ife to support the widows.
In her words, Queen Ebigieson was elated at seeing the widows radiate joy, saying, “QBF Widows’ Support Program, Osun 2020, was a big success.
“I always look forward to meeting widows and aged women and supporting them whichever way we can. Thank you to everyone who supported us, most especially, Mr Jimi Agbaje, Prof Pat Utomi, Apostle Joshua Suleman and her royal majesty, Queen Naomi Adeyeye Ogunwusi. I love you ma.”
Among the dignitaries at the event at Ile-Ife to lend support to QBF was Lagos State Actors Guild of Nigeria, AGN, chairperson, Moji Oyetayo.
Earlier the Ooni, His Imperial Majesty Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, received the The QBF Humanitarian Ambassador Award 2020 in his palace for his contribution to humanity, both in Nigeria and in diaspora.
Reacting to the award, Ooni Ogunwusi said he was honoured and thanked the foundation for honouring him with the Queen Blessing Foundation Humanitarian Ambassador award 2020 and promised to support the foundation.
